Norfolk, July 31.—The privateer Gordon, of Charleston, on Sunday last captured and carried into Hatteras Inlet, the brig McGilley [William McGilvery], of Bangor, Maine, with a cargo of Molasses. Also, the schooner Protection, from Cuba, bound to Philadelphia with a cargo of fruit.
The privateer Mariner has captured another schooner [the Nathaniel Chase] with fruit.
The privateer York has captured the brig D. S. Martin [B. T. Martin], of Boston, with a cargo of machinery.
