Brother Elmer’s Saints, interscholastic champions, proved too fast for the Hilo basketball tossers last week, winning two out of three games played in the second city. In the opening tilt at the armory on Monday evening the colors of the United Chinese Club were lowered 31 to 7. Tuesday night saw the Saints again on top, the Hilo Boarding School being downed 40 to 27. The third game on Wednesday was a rip snorting affair and resulted in a win for the Hilo Boy Scouts, 24 to 23.
