The donation of the handsome sum of $500 to the stricken city of Augusta by the American Tobacco Company through its Maysville Branch is calculated to make the general public change its opinion that corporations have no souls. This gift was entirely voluntary and was so timely that this generous sum of money went at once to the relief of many scores of hungry and homeless men, women and children. He gives twice who gives quickly.
