We cannot too strongly recommend to our readers especially the scientific and literary, the course of lectures about to be delivered in this city, by Geo. R. Gliddon, Esq., on Egyptian Antiquities, during which genuine specimens from the cabinet of Col. M. I. Cohen, of this city, will be orally explained to the audience. As this is the last course of lectures Mr. G. can deliver here previous to his departure from the country, and as it affords an unusual opportunity to become acquainted with antiquarian discovery and research, we feel confident that the Masonic Hall, on Tuesday evening next, when the first lecture of the course is to be delivered, will be crowded with the literary and scientific of our city.
