Actor Changes From Centaur to Snob

John Gilbert, star of “Wife of the Centaur,” will be seen In a very different and unusual role in “The Snob,” coming to the Blue Mouse Saturday. For, from the hot-blooded, romantic “centaur,” he has changed to cold-blooded, aloof snob.

Gilbert says he enjoys playing his first unsympathetic part on the screen, because of the opportunity to do something distinctive. The story is of a young Instructor in a small town with ambitions to scale the social heights. Norma Shearer plays opposite the star.
