During the past month the mean temperature recorded in Lewistown was 46. The maximum was 76 on the 19th of April and the minimum 18 on the 11th. There were 11 clear days, 12 partly cloudy and seven cloudy.

The Rocky Mountain Husbandman says it learns that the Montana railroad is to be pushed 150 miles east beyond Merino this season, striking the Yellowstone somewhere between Forsyth and Miles City, and that Dean & Marlow have a contract for 27,000 ties.

The River Press reports that the Fogarty Livestock Co. has been incorporated to do a general live stock business in Choteau county, with headquarters at Sandcliff. The incorporators are Edmond Fogarty, Jennie A. Fogarty and Alice D. Fogarty and the capital stock is fixed at $30,000, divided into shares of $1 each. It is presumed that the company will acquire the present extensive wool-growing interests of Edmond Fogarty, formerly of Fergus county.
