Arr at New Bedford 7th inst. Orozimbo, Bartlett, from Pacific last from Bahia Feb 16th, where she sold 1500 bbls wh oil, with 2400 bbls (500 sp) oil.
Also arr Abigail, Cox, Pacific, with 1600 bbls sp.
Arr at Edgartown 6th, Baltic, Gardner. Pacific, with 1400 bbls sp and 250 wh.
A whale ship was seen going into one of the whaling ports in LI Sound, probably the Washington, Osborn, for Sagharbor.
Brig Juno — The reported loss of this vessel is probably incorrect. She was reported lost January 1st, at the mouth of St Francisco River, lat 10S. She is reported by the Orozimbo, at New Bedford, Dec 30th, in lat 36 48 S, Ion 49 37 W, all well.
