Oscar Woodbury, who has been spending the winter in Boston, has returned to this city and will leave for Silver City to-morrow where he will start the cyanide plants as soon as possible.
Mr. Woodbury made the trip to his old home via Panama. He states that the Panama canal is the biggest piece of work on earth. Thirty thousand men are employed in digging the big ditch which look like it was larger than an ordinary river. The magnitude of the work is beyond the comprehension of the people who have never had a look at the construction and excavation.
After leaving the canal zone he reached Boston, where there was snow and ice and then some more. It was considered a mild winter in that section but it was enough to convince the Nevadan that this climate was about the proper caper.
