We understand that the disunionists in the upper part of Holt County, are raising a company for the purpose of driving the Republicans and Northern Methodists out of Rush Bottom. We hardly think that game will pay in Holt; and as a large majority of the people in the Bottom are Republican and Northern Methodists, who did not settle there with the intention of being driven out, we presume the traitors will take a sober second thought before they change from blustering to fighting. However, the Union men over there will do well to be on the alert. Intimidation and violence are the principal means which the traitors calculate to resort to, to carry their point.
