Wireless for Trains
The managements of the Lake Shore and the New York Central railroads have decided to install a wireless telegraph system on their lines between Chicago and New York. Experiments to demonstrate the efficiency and value of such an apparatus have been under way for several months.
Cure for Cancer
Scientists who since 1899 have been studying cancer at the Gratwick pathological laboratory of the University of Buffalo, N. Y., are stated to be preparing a report, which indicates they are nearing a solution of the great problem.
