If present plans do not miscarry, Glenn H. Curtiss, one of the greatest of American aviators, and his pupil, Eugene Ely, will give a series of flights In Seattle February 2, 3, 4 and 5.
Frank M. Brown, promoter, will attempt to raise $17,000, $10,000 of which will go to Curtiss and the balance for expenses.
Local organizations, Including the Seattle Commercial Club and the Seattle Hotel Men’s association, are back of the scheme.
